Every day, countless Namibians work hard to extend a service to the nation, put food on the table for their families and make some of their dreams come true. Sadly, these ambitions are sometimes interrupted by an accident at the workplace.

Therefore, the Employees’ Compensation Fund (ECF), administered by the Social Security Commission, compensates employees who in the course of their work, are injured or disabled as a result of such an accident.

In the event that an employee dies as a result of a workplace accident, the surviving spouse and children are thus entitled to a payout from the SSC.
